Savings on the Electricity Billing
By correcting your facility’s Power Factor rating, you effectively reduce the amount of energy brought in from your power provider. Most companies are not aware of their PF rating; and some do not know that they might be receiving a “fee” for a low PF.
Increased available power
Installing PFC equipment raises your rating to, ideally, above 95. Predictably, the less power your facility wastes, the more available energy to other consumers of the power grid. Most companies do not know what their rating is; we can help with that. In the Ohio market alone, Duke Energy is in process of shutting down a major power plant (https://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/i-team/clermont-officials-question-zimmers-tax-value-in-heated-meeting-over-plant-closure). In addition, there are plans to “sunset” others in the next few years. It doesn’t take an Ivy League education to recognize that fewer power plants mean less energy flowing through the grid = higher prices.
Energy Efficiency Achieved without Expensive Retrofitting
Common misconception is that companies can only achieve Energy Efficiency through extensive reconstruction of their infrastructure. Not true. This can be achieved simply by installing a capacitor regulator system that “right sizes” the amount of energy coming into your facility and reducing the amount of waste.
No change to your current Energy Contracts
We are not a power company; we are not a power broker. Nothing changes with your energy contracts. We simply analyze the energy coming into your facility (as gauged by your Electric Provider billing). The lower your PF Rating, the more you are wasting. We construct a custom-designed system that is installed at your point of entry. Nothing else changes.
